T5 A HISTORY OF SOUND
A fascinating audio visual demonstration utilising our large collection of early phonographs, music boxes, tape recorders and radiograms. Features recorded music and children's stories from times past. Worksheet available. Adaptable to any Level
T6 A HISTORY OF FILM
Demonstrates the development of still and movie photography utilising our great selection of early cameras, projectors and 3D postcards. A magic lantern show completes this fascinating visual journey to the past. Adaptable to any Level
T7 A HISTORY OF BREAD
The history of flour and breadmaking in Marlborough with a photographic tour of the famous Redwood's and Parker's Flour mills. Pupils map wheat-growing areas of Marlborough, view artefacts, and knead and bake a bread roll. Allow 2½ hours. Years 1 – 8
